Presence
Real-world and time-bound
You only appear live to others after you check into a listed room. Check-ins expire automatically when the window ends or you leave. You can browse Radar from anywhere, but you are not live in a room until check-in succeeds (including a GPS distance check at the venue).
Identity
Anonymous until you both choose
In the live room you appear as an aura — vibe and public conversation sparks — not a searchable profile. Name, photos, and private compatibility answers unlock after a mutual match and reveal.
Respect
Passes stay silent
If someone passes on your signal, you do not get a rejection notice — it simply never becomes a match. There are no public pass counts or rejection feeds.
Photos
On-device checks before upload
Profile and chat images can be scanned on your iPhone with Apple’s Sensitive Content Analysis before upload when that feature is enabled on your device. It is an automated on-device check, not a human review of every photo. If a scan flags content, the upload is blocked.
Control
Block and report on every surface
Every profile, live room, and chat thread has reporting and blocking one tap away. Blocked people cannot signal you, message you, or appear in your live room view.
Chat
What we do and don’t promise
Chat is not end-to-end encrypted. Messages are protected in transit (HTTPS) and access-controlled on our servers for mutual matches only. In chat, messages you send can show a “Seen” state when the other person reads them. If you take a screenshot while chat is open, the app shows you a local reminder on your device — your match is not automatically notified.
