Entry to a venue at night

Monarch Labs Collective, Inc. ("we," "us") operates the Signal mobile application and related websites including https://www.monarch-labs.com/signal-app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Account & profile: email, display name, age, bio, photos, dating preferences you choose to provide, and optional media prompts.
  • Location: when you grant permission, we use location to verify venue check-ins and optional nearby-room prompts — not a continuous location history sold to third parties.
  • Activity: check-ins, signals, messages after mutual match, blocks, and reports.
  • Purchases: Signal+ and consumables are processed by Apple; we store entitlement state, not full payment card data.
  • Usage: basic counts (like check-ins and signals sent) tied to your account so we can improve the app — not sold to advertisers.

How we use data

To operate venue presence, mutual matching, chat, safety (block/report), subscriptions, push notifications you opt into, and to improve the product.

Messages & encryption

Chat is sent over HTTPS/TLS. Message text and media are stored on our servers so we can sync history, deliver push notifications, and respond to abuse reports. This is not end-to-end encrypted like Signal Messenger — our team and infrastructure can access message content under normal operations and legal process.

Sharing

We use trusted partners for hosting, sign-in, and notifications (including Apple). We do not sell personal information. In live rooms, other members see your anonymous aura until a mutual match unlocks the reveal.

Retention & deletion

Check-ins expire automatically. You may delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete Account), which removes your profile and associated data subject to legal retention requirements.

Children

Signal is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
